This is our shared blog of two Thanksgiving Day liver recipients, Robin and Debbi, who met online and developed an amazing friendship. We met in a transplant forum that was based in the UK, and found we were both from Arkansas,USA, and had received our transplants on Thanksgiving Day (Robin-grey hair, 2007 and Debbi-brown hair, 2005). Thank you to our donor families.
I'll miss you, Robin.
ReplyDeleteSometimes words are not always necessary, when one like Robin has given you words of encouragment & inspiration in the past. One can cling to those past words and find comfort in remembering Robin sharing from the heart as she does. So, lots of words are not necessary. It's the quality, not the quantity that Robin has given us all and we are all better for having had her pass thru our life. She is on leave, but I believe that we all live within her heart , as she does in ours. I know she will be back. She still has a mission to complete and people like Robin don't stop until they cross the finish line. We are rooting you on, Robin. Come back when you can. You still have many messages to give us, I know. Ruth
